World Aids Day
The fight continues to save our communities from this epidemic. HIV/Aids has taken the lives of many love ones since the 80's, although we have made great leaps in the fight we still have a ways to go. Let's continue to help educate and promote awareness that this disease still exist and it still destroys. The advancement in technology and pharmaceutical companies have invented medications that allow people to live long, healthy, and normal lives, but the struggle continues due to the lack of education. It need to be taught in school, churches, and community outreach centers.
Today I will take time to reflect and remember two of my best friends who lost their battle with AIDS. Although its been 17 years for one and 11 years for the other, it still hurts as if it was yesterday. I've never met any friends like you two since. I love and miss you Keeling and Nijel.

Another senseless killing in Florida of a black teenage by a white. People need to learn to leave our children alone if they are not bothering them personally. I'm not prejudice by no means but white people seem to feel they have authority to seek, kill, and destroy in the streets. Let's learn to guard our children better.

No Motivation
There are so many things going on in this country that I could talk to you all forever but I'm in a place of darkness. I am working towards getting back to a happy place so until then just know I'm keeping my eyes and ears open to all that is going on in our culture. I don't have the motivation to attend any elite parties or red carpet events but I do know about them so maybe someway somehow I'll be able to report my findings on such events to you all. Oh, btw I am going to a all star live gospel recording in a week so maybe that will be my motivation. I'm only going cause I'm supposed to be getting in the VIP section so that means I need a fabulous outfit (lol), definitely we blog about it.
Until next time encourage yourselves

I Have A Story To Tell

What Is Normal?
Let's take a brief look at interacial marriages: according to many people of all cultures it is a sin to marry outside of your race, now this theory of their's comes from misinterpreting the bible where "God tells his people to be separate; not to be integrated." Now just like today it was misunderstood in biblical times.
In the book of Numbers, Miriam and Aaron talked against Moses who was married to a Cushite (black woman). Due to Miriam and Aaron's self-righteous behavior, it angered God that they spoke against his prophet. Miriam would be stricken with leprosy for 7 days for her sins against Moses' marriage. (This story can be found in Numbers 12). God did say in (Deut 7:1) Israelites couldn't marry Canaanites because they were wicked idolaters. The command was based on religion not race, so interacial marriges is not a sin by God but by man.
The moral of the this post is to allow you to be happy with who God made you to be. No one can say you are not normal because of your sexuality, because you are born to be you. If everyone in the world was on the same page what would the purpose of living be. We are all suppose to love, cherish, respect, and encourage one another regardless of gender, creed, ethnic background, and social economics. If you are gay be the best damn gay person you can be, if you are straight be the best at it and leave other people's business alone. It is my opinion that there are more successful gay people than straight in the world because they are not engaging in pointless ridicule of straight folks life journey. Once we learn to control what affects our own life directly we will be a better society. I live by this statement, "Society's prejudice rejects people or things outside their understanding." Get to know people individually and learn their story before you judge.

Reality Check
Instead of displaying hatred support those in the Lgbt community that are doing great and positive things for the betterment of the community. If someone else's success angers you it's time to look in the mirror and discover where you went wrong in your own life. Life is what you make it and you get out of it what you put into it. People continue to walk around in a delusional state from every corner of this country, pretending to be the likes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Sex and The City characters just to name a few. While you all are being delusional others are making moves to be productive in their communities.
Stop living a life of illusion for the world just so you can gain popularity with your peers. As time goes on the illusions that you are portraying because your reality that turns to a bigger problem called delusional. When you start to hate on others achievements it's time to seek help to get out of your deluded state of mine. Everyone dose not reach success at the same level or path, some sooner others later, but whatever the case maybe stop being deluded and take control of your life; you're never to old to make a new beginning. Become someone's target of bashing because of your great success and achievements as you have done to others. Remember you are not "NeNe Leakes" or any other reality diva you may think you are. Success waits for no one you have to grab it by balls and take control.
